Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Songsi connects fans, artists, and venues around live music. These Community Guidelines explain the behavior we expect from everyone on the platform, whether they are submitting a request, performing, hosting a session, or messaging another user.

Be Respectful

Do not harass, threaten, or target other users, artists, or venue staff. Do not post hateful content based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.

Age Requirement

Songsi is for adults. All Songsi accounts and paid platform participation — including paid song requests, boosts, tips, dedications, artist payouts, and booking features — are limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old. Do not create an account, submit paid requests, or otherwise use paid features on behalf of anyone under 18.

Requests, Dedications, and Messages

Messages, dedications, and public content shown in-venue must not contain slurs, sexually explicit content, threats, doxxing, spam, promotion of illegal activity, or content that violates the venue's environment. Venues may moderate or hide content shown at their location.

Artist Behavior

Artists set their own catalog and pricing and choose which requests to honor. Artists must not use Songsi to solicit fraudulent payments, impersonate others, or perform content that violates applicable law or venue expectations.

Business and Venue Behavior

Businesses and venues must accurately represent their events, use Songsi features honestly, moderate patron content displayed at their location, and comply with music licensing and venue laws.

Fraud and Abuse

Do not attempt to defraud Songsi, artists, businesses, or other users. Do not manipulate rankings, evade fees, use unauthorized payment methods, or create fake accounts, requests, or engagement.

Intellectual Property

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. Copyright complaints follow the Copyright/DMCA Policy.

Safety

Do not use Songsi to plan or promote violence, self-harm, human trafficking, or exploitation. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

Enforcement

Songsi may remove content, refund transactions, suspend features, or terminate accounts that violate these Guidelines, the Terms of Use, or applicable law. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.

Reporting

Report content or user behavior directly from Songsi using the Report button on profiles, Memories, dedications, and messages. You may also contact Songsi's designated support or trust channel with the account, session, and description of the concern.

You can block another user at any time from Settings → Blocked Users. To report content you believe infringes your copyright, use the Copyright Complaint Form.

Content Ownership and Promotional Use

You own the original content you upload. Songsi needs a limited operating license to display it inside the platform, and needs your separate affirmative consent — for each specific piece of content — before using it in external marketing or paid advertising. See the User-Generated Content & Content Ownership policy for the full framework.
