Artist Terms

1. Artist Profile

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, including stage name, bio, photos, catalog, pricing, and availability. You may edit or remove your profile at any time through your Songsi account.

Artist and DJ accounts, paid song requests, boosts, tips, dedications, artist payouts, and booking features are limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old. You must affirmatively confirm at signup that you are 18 or older.

2. Catalog and Pricing

You control which songs are available for request through your profile or active Live Session. You set your own pricing for song requests, boosts, and bookings within any minimums or ranges made available on the platform.

3. Live Performances

Songsi does not direct, manage, or control your live performance. A paid request or boost does not guarantee performance of a specific song at a specific time. You retain control over your set, song selection, and performance decisions.

If a paid song request is not performed during the applicable Songsi Live Session — whether because you skipped it in your set or it remained in the queue when you ended the session — Songsi will notify the fan and present them with two explicit options: (a) "Support the Artist Instead," under which Songsi refunds the unfulfilled request payment and separately invites the fan to authorize a new, voluntary tip transaction to you, or (b) "Refund My Request," under which Songsi refunds the unfulfilled request payment to the fan's original payment method. Songsi does not automatically create a tip. If the fan does not make a selection within 24 hours, Songsi will automatically initiate a refund. Your request earnings and the Songsi platform fee for that transaction are not retained on refunded requests. A follow-on tip, if the fan authorizes one, is a separate transaction recorded and paid out under Songsi's tip platform fee rules.

4. Content and Rights

You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and publish the audio, images, videos, artwork, and other content you submit to Songsi, and that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party. You grant Songsi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services.

5. Payouts

Payouts are processed through a third-party payment processor (Stripe Connect). You must complete required onboarding and identity verification before payouts can be released. Payouts are subject to the processor's terms, timing, holds, reserves, and reversals. See the Payment & Payout Terms.

6. Platform Fee

Songsi charges a platform fee on paid transactions. The applicable fee is disclosed at the time of the transaction or in your artist dashboard. Fees may be updated with reasonable notice.

7. Taxes

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on amounts you earn through Songsi. Songsi or its processors may issue tax forms as required by law.

8. Independent Relationship

You are an independent contractor in your relationship with Songsi. Nothing in these Artist Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship. You determine when and how you perform.

9. Bookings

Bookings made through Songsi are agreements between the Artist and the requesting business, venue, or event operator, subject to the Booking Terms. Songsi provides tools to facilitate bookings but is not a party to the underlying performance agreement.

10. Conduct

You agree to comply with the Community Guidelines and applicable law during your use of Songsi and while performing in connection with Songsi features. Songsi may suspend or remove artist accounts for violations.

11. Termination

You may deactivate your artist profile at any time. Songsi may suspend or terminate artist accounts for violations of these Artist Terms, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.
